Considerato uno dei più rappresentativi flautisti italiani della sua generazione, Giuseppe Nova è stato definito interprete affascinante dal Washington Post. In duo con lui il pianista e compositore, Luigi Giachino con all’attivo pubblicazioni per Curci, Warner, Casa Sonzogno.
Questo concerto è una sonorizzazione dal vivo di celebri sequenze di capolavori del cinema, in cui i due artisti guidano il pubblico in un percorso artistico nel quale le proiezioni sono svincolate dalle trame, e le immagini si limitano a un ruolo puramente evocativo, consentendo di apprezzare appieno il valore e la funzione fondamentale delle grandi colonne sonore.
In programma tra le altre, le celebri Il postino di Luis Bacalov, C’era una volta il west, The Mission e C’era una volta in America di Ennio Morricone, Buongiorno principessa e La vita è bella di Nicola Piovani, Schindler’s list di John Williams, Smile di Charlie Chaplin e Il Padrino di Nino Rota.

Considered one of the most representative Italian flutists of his generation, Giuseppe Nova has been defined a fascinating performer by the Washington Post. In duo with him the pianist and composer Luigi Giachino, who published works with Curci, Warner, Casa Sonzogno.
This concert is a live soundtrack of famous scenes of some movie masterpieces. The two artists guide the audience through a journey in which the images are detached from the plots and they only have an evocative power, allowing you to fully appreciate the value and fundamental function of great soundtracks.
Many famous tracks will be played, such as The Postman by Luis Bacalov, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Mission and Once Upon a Time in America by Ennio Morricone, Good Morning Princess and Life is Beautiful by Nicola Piovani, Schindler’s list by John Williams, Smile by Charlie Chaplin and The Godfather by Nino Rota.
